BossMan Dlow is scorching a path through the rap game that resembles his triple-digit swerves in his favorite sports cars. Teaming up with GloRilla to teach the finer points of getting every last dollar, the Port Salerno, FL native shares “Finesse (Remix).” A fan favorite track from his late 2023 mixtape 2 Slippery, “Finesse” has picked up steam in recent weeks, racking up 22 million+ total streams since December and over 8 million YouTube views since its February video release. The new remix of the song adds a verse from Big Glo, currently tearing up the charts in her own right with her song “Yeah Glo!,” who mimics Dlow’s slippery flow before applying her own thunderous patter. The remix comes with a video, directed by Rook, in which Dlow goes to a high school chemistry class to learn how to make the best product, before he and GloRilla transform an auto shop into a center for distribution.
“Finesse (Remix)” comes hot on the heels of Mr Beat The Road, Dlow’s new mixtape, which just debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 after racking up 37.3M total streams (24.4k units sold). The 17-track mixtape gets the most out of Dlow’s massive charisma, painting a picture of Dlow’s whip-swerving, hard-trapping, rack-stacking lifestyle. He is a master of the unexpected punchline, building anticipation with his elastic flow before subverting them with an sly flex or out-of-pocket pronouncement.
Mr Beat The Road is home to recent singles like the Billboard Hot 100-charting breakout hit “Get In With Me,” and its trending follow-up “Mr Pot Scraper,” plus recently-teased songs like “Muscle Up,” performed last week on On The Radar.
